Charity Lunches

The lunches are on the 3rd Tuesday of the month from 12.45 – 2pm in Mereworth Village Hall. All are welcome to come along and partake of delicious soup and tasty bread and cheese and at the same time help a local charity.

Mereworth Lunch Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month, August excepted, in the Village Hall
Members are aged 60 or over, and they enjoy an informal and social lunch of delicious home-cooked food at a modest price. A monthly raffle is held to enable members to enjoy a “free” Christmas lunch in December, with wine.

Beavers (Hurricanes) – Meet at Discovery School, Kings Hill; Friday afternoons: 1630 to 1800 hrs
Beavers (Tornados) – Meet at Mereworth School; Friday afternoons: 1730 to 1900 hrs
Cubs (Two Groups: Wolves and Tigers – Meet at Kings Hill School: 1800 to 1930 hrs
Scouts – Meet at Mereworth School; 1915 – 2115hrs
Explorers – Meet at Mereworth Village Hall (most weeks): 1945 to 2200 hrs NB Explorers often meet outside rather than in a hall.


Crafty Chinwaggers

The group meet monthly in Mereworth Village Hall, Butchers Lane, Mereworth on the third Tuesday in the  evening when they enjoy various crafts; knitting, fabric, card making, painting, sewing, etc.  and organise trips out.  Everyone made very welcome.   There is no meeting in January.  For information email  –

Monday at 7:30 p.m. in West Peckham Village Hall.
The W.I. is part of Tonbridge District and Kent West Kent Federation.  All members have access to events within the District and Federation and the W.I. College in Oxfordshire.

Visitors are always welcome.  Just come along.
