Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2019

£1,991.63 was raised in Mereworth and West Peckham for the Royal British Legion 2019 Poppy Appeal through house-to-house collections, static collecting points, donations, collection at Mereworth church on Remembrance Sunday and the sale of wreaths.

Ten volunteers kindly sold poppies house-to-house; there were nine static collecting points around the villages, and Mereworth School generously filled two collecting tins.

Graham and Diane Matthews generously gave their time to help count the cash.

The Royal British Legion provides financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces, and their dependants. Many thanks to all who contributed in any way to the Poppy Appeal.
