Kent County Council offers a mobile library service the village every Wednesday afternoon. The vehicle parks at the Village Hall at 3.00, moves to the cul-de-sac in Butcher’s Lane and then to the Airfield estate.
Kent County Council is keen to hear from the public as to what it would like for its libraries in the future. With the advent of e-books, downloaded films via streaming and so on, printed matter is not so much on the literary or entertainment agenda. KCC is very mindful of this, and therefore needs to harness its public lending and library needs and requirements. It is important that every community has their say, so do visit their website www.kent.gov.uk/libraries and leave a comment. Likewise, if you have an idea you would like to share, email the team at firstname.lastname@example.org
